To commemorate three decades of PlayStation, Sony has introduced a special edition series of PS5 consoles and accessories. This limited collection marks a significant milestone in the gaming history of the brand.

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection is scheduled for launch on November 21, with preorders commencing on September 26. This exclusive series will include a PS5 Digital Edition package, along with a PS5 Pro package, and individual versions of the PlayStation Portal Remote Gamer, DualSense Edge wireless gamepad, and DualSense wireless controller Controller.

While pricing details remain undisclosed, it has been confirmed that a total of only 12,300 units of the PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle will be produced. Buyers who successfully purchase one of these consoles will find unique serial numbers engraved on the unit, signifying the day and month when the original PlayStation console was launched.

For those with a PlayStation Network account, preorders for the PS5 Pro Edition, PlayStation Portal Remote Player, and DualSense Edge Wireless Controller will begin on September 26 in areas where the PlayStation Direct website operates. In regions lacking access to the online store, preorders can be made at selected retailers, which will also include the DualSense Wireless Controller.

Additionally, the limited edition PS5 Digital Edition will become available for preorder starting on October 10. Those opting for the PS5 Pro Edition bundle will receive a console equipped with a 2TB SSD, along with themed versions of the DualSense Edge, DualSense Wireless Controller, a DualSense Charging Station, and a Protective Shell for a Disc Drive Unit, which is available separately.

In contrast, the PS5 Digital Version, includes a console with a 1TB SSD and complementary gear, including a DualSense wireless game controller and a vertical stand, complemented by a Console Cover for a Disc Drive, available for separate purchase as well.

Each bundle in this exclusive collection is accompanied by distinctive items in addition to the sophisticated new hardware, including a retro-style cable and connection device, fasteners, labels, a wall chart, and a PlayStation paperclip.
