Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur Adds Town Building and Defense, Trade Routes and Much More
- 20 Jul 2024
The latest massive addition to Grinding Gear Games's Path of Exile, entitled Settlers of Kalguur, has been unveiled. The unveiling date for players to embark on the development mission of Kingsmarch, a vital location in Path of Exile 2, through accumulating resources, is scheduled for July 26th. Be sure to watch the unveiling trailer below.
The expansion sees players collaborate with new and returning characters like Dannig, Rog, Tujen, and Gwennen from the Expedition series. They are on the hunt for valuable resources like Crimson Iron, Orichalcum, Petrified Amber, and more, each of which presents distinctive challenges, such as defeating formidable enemies protecting Verisium. They also need to hire personnel for diverse tasks such as smelting, agriculture, and mining. Some combatants can even be hired to go through maps for them in the endgame, a favor provided by Isla from Heist.
Once a Harbour is constructed, players can establish commerce routes and acquire various rewards. You can assign Dannig to strengthen your weapons with runes, and Isla can combine items, akin to the method used by Sentinel, to achieve potent results. Naturally, new adversaries will put Kingsmarch in peril in the endgame, leaving the choice to battle or negotiate with them to the player.
Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur is to be released on July 26th for both consoles and PCs.
