Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is Out Now

Capcom has released a new hack-and-slash strategic game, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, which is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC platforms and on Game Pass. The game’s theatrical trailer teases the stunning aesthetics, a variety of supportive units, and the formidable Seethe for players to confront.

The game involves guiding the Maiden Yoshiro, played by Soh, through Mt. Kafuku to cleanse this sacred space of the malevolent entity known as Seethe. This challenging mission prompts players to rescue villagers during the day, whom they can transform into warriors. In the battle, they can utilize archers for ranged attacks or deploy melee units for ground combat. The strategy lies in repositioning and tasking units as per the battle conditions.

Combining real-time battlefield strategy and tower defense elements with active combat, this game is uniquely engaging. The core narrative unfolds over 20 closely-knit hours of gameplay, making Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess an extensive gaming journey. The collectible Okami collaboration items, such as the Amaterasu-themed armor and the Thunder Edge weapon, add an interesting layer to the experience.
