Exciting New Games and Celebrations: PlayStation Plus December 2024 Lineup Unveiled

As the year draws to a close, excitement builds around the new offerings from PlayStation Plus. December 2024 is set to deliver an intriguing selection of games while also celebrating the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation brand with special bonuses.

Sony has unveiled the PlayStation Plus monthly games for December 2024, highlighting that It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent and Temtem will be accessible starting December 3 for subscribers, with access lasting until January 6. It Takes Two is a co-op adventure from Hazelight Studios, which has garnered acclaim with a review rating of 9/10 for its imaginative design and exhilarating gameplay.

Aliens: Dark Descent, a tactical game by Tindalos Interactive set in the famous Alien universe, offers an immersive experience that blends survival horror elements with real-time strategy. However, critics noted it suffers from a few technical issues. Lastly, Temtem, developed by Crema, is an MMORPG that brings a new twist to the creature-collecting genre, drawing inspiration from popular titles in the same field.

PlayStation Plus members should act quickly, as they have until December 2 to include Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and Death Note: Killer Within to their libraries. In celebration of the PlayStation’s anniversary, a game trial for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 will be offered available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers starting on December 3.

Additionally, December will welcome three classic titles to the PlayStation Plus Premium catalog. From December 10, members will gain access to Sly 2: Band of Thieves and Sly 3: A Tale of Honor Among Pilferers by Sucker Punch, along with Naughty Dog’s legendary Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. More details regarding the complete lineup of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and premium options will be shared soon.

To round off the month, a free online multiplayer weekend is scheduled for December 6 to 8, allowing all players to enjoy online capabilities for titles they possess without the need for a PlayStation Plus subscription on both PS4 and PS5.
